Exception Access Violation at 00000000

Hi im new to PlaneShift,

I downloaded the file from Mirror 1, it downloaded pretty quickly i ran the installations updated the files, howeve rnow i cannot get into the game. Every time i try to get in i recieve the message Exception Access Violation at 00000000. Am i doing something wrong? I have tried Disabling the sound, changing the skin, reducing the font scaling, and switching the vertex buffer objects from on to off ect. I was really looking forward to playing the game can anybody offer me some help please?

Can you post your system specs for us, just in case it's something with your machine?

Try uninstalling PlaneShift completely (make sure no folder is left behind), and then reinstall one more time. Sometimes this fixes some of these issues :]

Sorry im pretty slow with computers  can you tell me where to find the specs usually i just download things and they run lol

Wow, this must be a coincidence. I just got this exact same crash just a few minutes ago, but it's been happening to only one of my characters, and not just with 000000. =/

To find your processor type and RAM amount, right-click on your My Computer icon and look under "Computer" in the General tab. For your graphics card, type dxdiag into the Windows' Run command and look at the Display tab. The important bits are in the red boxes:

I see, it appears i do not meet a sys requirement of RAM which most likely means i cant play new computer soon thank you for your help at least

Are you sure? It may be something else.. :] If you'd like to post your specs anyway and see if there's an alternative explanation, by all means feel free.
