crash to windows

Hello, i have come upon a problem wich crashed the game to windows when loading into a zone the crash has no error message when i attempt to log back in it starts to load then crashes again. Any ideas?

Do you by any chance know what zone it is? If the loading screen looks like this:



Then you may want to try downloading a new map for the area, located in this thread.

If that doesn't work or if it's another zone, post your character name and a GM will try to move him or her.

no its the woods zone, my character name is Gavik Kline.

now, Gavik is being role played as a racist bandit character and he noticed alot of diamonds sitting on the ground around the gazebo. Seeing this Gavik couldn't resist the opportunity so he started picking them up much to the surprise of the apparent "owner" of the ground diamonds. Well this made the "owner" angry so.....

Well i created a new character and tried to zone and the same thing happend, so yes please move Gavik.

Done Although my suspicion is that the crash is by the Bronze Doors area... Perhaps give that map a download anyway

Gah, computer crashed when I was merging a double-post and I lost the other one. I'm sorry :/

I cannot move you anywhere aside the DR, unfortunately. I will get to it as soon as I can.

well the problem persisted but was fixed by a reinstall  so if anyone has the  same problem a reinstall should fix it right up.

Is this similar to my problem? My character Aristolium crashes the entire game every time I try to log in with him, but my other character however works fine. Can moving him to the DR solve this too?

i'd suggest turning on vertex buffer objects in the setup program
start->PlaneShift Crystal Blue->PlaneShift Setup
it might help the crashes
