Planeshift File Size?

hey, can someone give me an estimate on how big the file size for planeshift is going to be? i only have a 56k so im wondering if im gonna have to download overnight or something

yeah, i think u prob will, have u seen them pics?!?! they are awesome and are prob. huge to load so yeah, most likely overnight

Go download somewhere at a friends... or some college (if you live in a college town)

... otherwise I would probably pay for a cd since I have a 36.6/56k connection (allways changes)

Well, this seems like a good way to get into the scene with a first post.

I would be more than glad to burn the software on CD\'s and send them out for only the price that it costs me... $0.15 for CD, $0.20 for case, ? for postage... I would be more than happy. The more people that can get the software means more people can play...

I dont know about the final game but the demo will be a small size of 10- 30 megs...not overnight!

thats amazing.. i mean, you talk about so many features this game would have, and i\'ve seen the graphics, i mean.. i was thinking atleast 100mb..
have u seen stuff like helbreath ?
they are so-so graphics and like 200megs..

personally i dont mind downloading a big file, but i sorta liked the old looking, lousey graphics *runescape style* game..

lol u guys prolly are so sick of the r word =/

well its still on the same game engine.. or maybe you plan on improving everything up

i know that when u go to sites like microsoft to download game demos , they take like maybe 50megs less than the original game, and all the diffrence is that they dont include some features..


but i guess the first PS demo will not only wont include some features, but also wont have all the graphics and stuff... its just a first demo :D

but i dont care it would still rock !

maybe its hard to believe but that is overnight for me  8o my internet likes to disconnect me for no apparent reason it took me a week to download RO and that was the alpha (right when i finished they closed it down those ****ers!)

I know this has probably been asked a zillion times, but here are some questions I have....


When is the demo scheduled for?


Will this demo last until the next demo?


Will everyone be able to play, or is there a numerical cap or something?


If we make actually inteligent input based on our experience with the demo, is there a chance it will be implemented?
