Productive replies don\'t really seem to cmhitman\'s speciality at the moment.

I\'m afraid I may have misjudged your guild in the past Kinoss. I have recently been impressed with the structure and organisation of your guild (nice sig too ;)). What would be great to see (and I think I heard that you are working on it) is a website containing all this info, I\'m sure you would also attract members that way. Is one on the way?

cmhitman, I agree with Kada, I think you should silence yourself about this completely un-cockily named SCOPR.

As for Kinoss, I would like to have an important part in some guild. I was thinking of starting my own, but there\'s really no point except that I\'m a powermonger... Anywho, right now your guild doesn\'t seem that exceptionally amazing. I want a role in a powerful guild.  So, basically, if you get a site, you have a potential leader here.
You are here,
You will always be here,
You will never be there.
Although you may strive to get there,
upon reaching there you will realize you are really here.
And there is everywhere else.

Wow... im touched, really I am. I am glad that my negative reputation has changed to that of a more positive one. Thank you all. Thank you Kada for giving me a chance. Thank you Ravenmaster for giving me hope. Thank you.

Our guild has changed a lot since it was first introduced and I know it is for the better. Now let me try and tell you of our guild. Our guild plans to become a great civilization where all learning is its focus. There are four things that our guild revolves around, we like to call these things the \'Four Pillars\'. These \'Four Pillars\' are Learning, Knowledge, Beauty, and Art. Two of these \'Four Pillars\' are reffered to as the \'Greater Pillars\'. The two \'Greater Pillars are\' Learning and Knowledge. These are the \'Greater Pillars\' because without them we could not create worthy Beauty and Art. The \'Greater Pillars\' focus on two things Cartography and Texts. Cartography, is very important in our kingdom. Cartography is everywhere, whether it be on paper or in your mind. We wish to build a great Kingdom founded on these four pillars. A kingdom so great and magnificent that it is reffered to as the center of all learning and knowledge. We WILL rise and be known even by the all-knowing gods of Talad and Laanx. Our civilization will be called Atheria and we shall be called the Atherians.

Concerning our Scholars:

Our scholars are the greatest learners of knowledge. They study ancient text, create theories of our world, study maps, and create more texts. Without our scholars we would fall to the unknown as other civilizations have done before us. If you ever see one of our scholars you will know that you have met a well learned man.

Concerning our Army:

Our army is as majestic as the dawning of the sun. It rises to the call of battle and sets on the sides of our enemies the mark of humiliation. There is no enemy who does not know the fact that our army will cause them great loss. Our army is composed of Ylians, who dress unifomly and march just the same. We are a peacful civilization but if we are ever threatend or a friend is ever in need we will respond, with great forces.

Concerning Atherians:

All are welcome to become one of us. We do not believe in a more dominant race. If you ever walk through our majestic gates you will be welcomed and asked to remain for as long as you please. Come and stay with us, come with us into our rise to greatness.

Welcome, to the center of all learning, dear traveler, stay with us. For you are in ATHERIA.

Nice guild structure, Kinoss! The \'army leader\' appeals to me... However, I am afraid I will not have a lot of time to use, and I will dedicate my efforts to the BISM. However, do you think that you can have \'army advisers\' in along with the army leader? If so, then I think I might be one, except a half-advising person. Then again, I am a mercenary in the BISM.  :P Which means I could be hired by you to help advise...

While I may be taking Real Life items into this, I think the following ideas might be good.

No army can be led by one person only. You need section commanders, spies, specialists, and so on. Specialists include naval experts, experts with fire, magic, and so on. Army leaders are basically directer generals. \"Use rank to limit ambition\"-Quote from someeone in the Three Kingdoms[/] novel, I believe. Also, you might want to consider reading Sun Tzus Art of War.

Perhpas there should be scholar specialists. Like those who specialize in debate, poetry, writing, and so on. Sholars could create philisophies, debate over topics to create an overall impression of how your civilization views the world, and could even tap into the deepest of secrets, the most mysterious of magics.

Use my ideas as you see fit. If you do not like them, ignore this post. If you like them, you are definately welcome to use this. One last point: Loyalty and fidelity are great helpers for all. Traitors within your empire will (obviously) ensure thy fall.
You pay the same price for doing something halfway as for doing it completely. So you might as well do it completely.

Despise the enemy and you will lose.

Another thing you might want to do is to figure out who is to become yore section leaders. It is doubtless that many people will apply, and you can only choose one person out of... many. You might want to either divide the responsibilities or fgure out a way to choose the best person out of many. I am afraid I do not have any ideas on how to choose the most worthy of appliers, though...

Never take a person by their word. Take a look at their merits, actions, and views. That could be one way you decide on who should be each leader...

Simple, you join, make sure the leader knows you want a certain position...earn their respect and then gain the position

Good setup btw Kinoss :D

Okay, well I guess I want to be the forscher leader.  The army leader seems good, but that\'s wha teveryone else wants too and I think there are other people who will make more combat-based characters than I.  I am guessing that you are German, Kinoss, or at least German is your native language, as \"forscher\" is German for \"researcher\".
