1 - 10 of about 1,040,000 for worshiper
1 - 10 of about 1,810,000 for worshipper

Nearly twice as many worshippers need to pee twice as badly as worshipers.

Now we know  where the rivers of Babylon came from....and why they are called pews....!

funnily enough from answers.com we get:
Quote
v., -shiped or -shipped, -ship·ing or -ship·ping, -ships or -ships.[/quote]

1 - 10 of about 1,720,000 for shiping
It is apparently a very popular name in the orient as well as a province in China. Of course many of those hits are likely to be misspelt shipping as were 6 of the first 20.
English is full of irregularities and both forms of worshiping are correct. I suspect it may be one of those British/American English differences. The double p always looks wrong to me.

I'm sorry but religious doctrine must be had out! We may lose sleep over this, surely you have heard of the Princess and the P?
If those who are worshipping cannot tolerate those who are worshiping we may well be headed for schism!
BTW my spell-checker does not like the extra p...

To settle this... worshipping and worshiping are both correct, and I will not have any of you pheasants desecrating this thread any longer. Now, start worship(p)ing lest Rizin unleashes the Muffins of Fury upon your mortal souls!

Rejoice! Rizin has seen fit to provide for her followers. She dictates the way the cookie crumbles! Let us give thanks.

Umm... THANKS!

There are cookies involved?  Had  I known this I would have signed up from the start.  Don't get me wrong, it's not that Rizin isn't sufficiently awesome.  I'm just a lone wolf kind of guy when it comes to cults.  But cookies change everything!
