Free in alpha/beta stages maybe but, I was looking around both their sites and one said free BUT, with premium buyable content and the other mentioned something about a fee in the future.

Exactly. Adellion is supposed to be pay to play, while that Earth Eternal game will be giving benefits to those who spend some cash. But judging by EE's influences (WoW, Runescape, D&D...) it really isn't very likely to be an RP-friendly game. I didn't spot any ideas that would convince me otherwise either.

I started to play Illarion but I had 2 reasons I stopped before it got running.
1.I get errors such as no support for 32 bit depth in my resolution and an exception.
2.While ooc is possible to have an IC explenation, i want to be able to say the ooc explanation in brackets. also, It appears guild chat is IC. lots of things involving the guild that are ooc are in most guild chats (I think)
And if some a open source game to role play in, voozu (mmorpg.myfanforum.com) may do well, despite being far from finished and being an RPG till we have the basics.
