First, I would not start a new post on the same problem in the same forum.
Second, I do not have a mac, but by reading the links they gave you in the first couple responses of your first post I would say it looks like you need to press "o" the letter, not the number, that puts you into options... then you need to go to mouse controls and set them (ingame)
if that does not work, I would see about looking in the Mac issues forum thread. I am sure you are not the first mac user to play Planeshift. read them... if you do not have their problem yet, you might, and the solutions will help you... then, if you look through them, and you can not find what you need, I would try posting again, there. the people who read those posts are more familiar with macs than I.
but I did not see where you stated you went into "options" and it did not work/help. It helps the helpers to know you are reading and doing the suggestions... though I understand if you did not do the code adaption. (wow).
