questions about the game
« on: September 25, 2008, 07:29:25 am »
hi , i'm new . before starting i will say some things : i think that the project of the development of this game is a very good thing because it is free and is a non profit project , and no many things are completely free today . now , i have some questions about the features of the game : 1) is the game skill-based or level-based ? 2) is the game class-based or skill-based ? 3) can i modify my starting stats in the game , such as to raise one or to lower one other ? 4) will the game be item-based or ability-based ? 5) how many character per account can i have ? 6) how big will be the world ? thank you very much

Everything is skill based, yes you can change starting stats, don't know about 4, you can have four chars pee acount, and its not very big.

Welcome!

1) A lot of skills are already implemented, several are not yet. Their influence in your abilities is complex.
2) There are no real classes. Character generation only sets start-up stats/skills, all races are still rather equal.
3) The start-up stats/skills depend on race, social and familiar background, childhood events ... get surprised.
4) Items may have quality and modifications. Your skill using them will be more important though.
5) You can create up to four chars per account, which you can not use at the same time.
6) So far there are: A town, a town quarter, a village, an outpost - and enough landscape to separate them.

7) It is not yet a final game. It is constantly developing. The goal is to play. As the development is planned in decades and centuries ;) - better plan your playing accordingly.
