Best Repository For Info About The World

I'm reading the guides online, and they have the barest of information available about the races and the setting.  If the game is supposed to be very RP centric, it would be nice to know some more information about the setting.

Is there a good place to find it?  What is culture like?  What about government, trade or religion?

If these things aren't currently mapped out or developed, could I help with writing in some of the milieu?

 Of course I would also check out the Library.  Ask ingame where it is.  A lot of information in the books there.

I'm reading that currently.  I'm in the middle of the races.

So far I'm seeing mention of a few cities, but I haven't even seen the name of the world.  I'll check back with some specific questions when I'm done reading the story section.
