Perhaps we should write a guide to eluding them.

*edit*

I have had a chat to Joale IG, and I like his concepts. Unlike either the One or TTC, he actually is striving for a merchant GUILD in a manner of which a fantasy/medieval guild would operate. IMO this idea would be wonderful to see take off.

If you want to get anywhere as a crafter and actually get paid and treated well for your work, join here.

Unlike the TTC? Why that?

This guild just keeps getting better and better! Now, with new and improved name. If I were TTC I would  be mighty scared. There's a new sheriff in town.

I am offended now since I do not know what OOC means! The TTC hereby declares war on everyone! ;)

I wasn't trying to provoke, it's simple:

There are only two commerce guilds active that I have seen in the game.

TTC and the One.

Neither of them interest me (stocks are too complex for my char, and socialism just doesn't ring my bells) but this guild interests me as it has a decent system, isn't an attempt at complete market-monopoly, is neither capitalist or socialist, and is really medieval and I cannot find a part of it that defies settings in any way.

I'm not putting the other guilds down, I'm saying this guild is frankly a better idea (I can't say a better guild yet, as it doesn't exist), and the others should take notice and adapt.

PS isn't medieval. It is far away from that.

If it isn't medieval Donari, why are we officially asked to choose names appropriate for a medieval setting??

Ad in other places there are requests to adhere to medieval settings.

There are no guns, no modern inventions, no modern democracy. PS is very much alike to aspects of the medieval era, albeit all united under one governing body.

I agree, if there is armour and swords, etc. it is already medivel. most fantasy games are based on medival times with addition of magic, monsters , etc.

Really, the TTC and the One can fit into the setting, as experimental ideas (I'm sure such things happened at the time).

One thing to remember is that PS is LOOSELY medieval. It doesn't MATCH medieval history or align to it, but it is set in a similar time area.

Back on topic:

How's the guild development going along Joale?

Its going good, the guild has been created, but only two other members, as well as my self, so if your interested at all, just talk to me in game.

I thought you needed 5 members to keep a guild for more than 5 minutes.

Ohh, 5 members.... 2 members, 3 alts... lol.  WE aren't even going to be opening a market untill we have our grand opening ceremony, and we can't have a grand ceremony untill we get members, but I* am working on it.
