Link dead on login screen!!help!

Help me. I am new to this game, and i tried logging in.I went past character creation screen to log in and it said :link dead(if you are actually receiving this message report it now!)Oh btw i know it has nutin to do with my hardware.

If you have a firewall disable it, Ive heard that the firewall does not allow the serve to connect correctly with your computer.
