Screen resolution issue - PS 0.5
« on: December 10, 2009, 01:46:51 pm »
Currently I use a computer with a very small screen, thus when I launch the new PS 0.5 setup I am left with this:

Is there any way I can change the resolution on the setup so that I can play?
Answers and ideas appreciated

my best guess is to open the file pslaunch.cfg in a notepad type program and alter the full screen option OR the video width and height
(i perfer to use damnnfo or getdiz instead of notepad) oh and make sure you save a back up as a *.txt and the one you want to use as a .cfg
(it wont work unless its ".cfg")

blue screen aren't problems in planeshift but problems in your drivers or hardware. please double check that all is in order and that the power supply unit supplies enough power. (if the video card has a socket for power connect it!) Also check the system has a correct airflow and that all components are properly attached to the motherboard

also changing your desktop screen resolution to something other then 800x600 would help  \\o//
