i figure if we pay at first, but not monthly then scammers won\'t be as bad cuz they don\'t want to lose their money...

well, i rs i only got scammed once and it was just like 2k, but the people of rs were horrible... when i play eq the people are alot nicer, i think its cuz they pay

i think the ps people will do what they can to prevent scamming. people shouldnt compare this game to what others are like. cuz it wont be anyhtign like them.

just cuz u pay doesnt mean they wil lbe nice, in eq, its cuz game masters will kill you if ur mean, in rs, they didnt do anything about it, in planeshift, the mods will be playing side by side with us, but they will have \"powers\" :D

tons of people that play these games are under 18 and cant use credit cards
anyway i wouldnt pay cuz i dont have any money and parents def. wont pay for it

thanx but no thanx, We\'re Open Source and we plan to stay that way. I will delete further posts on this topic! We have many mods who will delete ppl behaving like this. have you seen that Spunky Monkey and the other idiots have been deletd, the same will happen to you if you do it!

Sorry to dreg this up and whitti stay your hand for a second...

But i just came to a realisation... the reason such games as EQ and UO, DaoC have better players that are generaly more \"nicer\" if you will is... because those that play are in the majority over 18 years old, and hence there player base is far more mature in its thoughts and actions. granted you get the odd snot of a child/teen or an immature adult (ive run into them on teh odd blue moon) Pay sortta weeds out the unwanteds (the majority of players i knew in EQ where either at college or married/living with some one and had families. usualy Ages 17-55(yep i had a guild friend that was over 50  :] )... it was amazing how the ingame environment drasticaly deteriated on the weekends and slightly less so around the 7pm-10pm times on weekdays, draw your own conclusion from that staement

However i im with Whitti ^^... we\'ll keep it free.

now this thread is free to wither and fade away...

paying is not the best idea, think about the kids who cant afford games like EQ, and think that RUNESCAPE SUCKS, they come here to have fun and still get to eat ;)  my point is, think about the children lol

I\'m not saying a monthly fee, just a single initial one, maybe it would keep the game a little less \"Runescapish\"  The best thing would be to have a free game with a lot of good mods...
