separate databases for characters and the world
« on: June 01, 2003, 12:52:32 pm »
i\'ve been hearing quite some times now that everytime PS gets a bigger update, the whole DB gets cleaned ...i\'m thinking how about if we had a separate database for players and a separate for the world ...this way if the world would get updated and had it\'s db cleaned out, the characters and their inventory and skills would stay the same ...well, until the characters would need to be seriously updated

...just a thought, it might as well be a kick in the dark :\\

Well I don\'t think they really want to preserve the player database, so this will probably not happen
