Bank(Money transactions), Items

Well I played EQ and I needed to change my character once, but I already had a lot of money on my previous character. and items/weapons.

The only way in EQ is to give it to friend, switch character, get from friend.

Could there be some kind of bank, pawn shops, Whatever, where you can put your stuff/money with one character and get it back with another?
possibly protected by password or just recognizes the same account.

or there was the idea elkardian did.... there was a startup with 3 empty slots... 1 character would go in a slot..... ingame all the items from 1 character were shared a long with the other characters u had in the slots.... there was a lvl requirment to use the bank something around 5 or 10 but i think that would be a good idea... shared character bank accounts

A password protected \'bank\' is not the best solution.  Perhaps one coupled with a bank account number would work.  But again, that takes away from atmosphere.

Heres some ideas i just had.

1.  Banks would store money.  Warehouses would store items.  Costs nothing to open a bank account.  There is a monthly fee for storing items in a warehouse.

2. Warehouses would see minimal to medium use.  Once people are able to have property of their own, they will be able to store items in there without problems.

Perhaps an \'access list\' of sorts would work

/tell banker \'allow Jragi to access my money\'

/tell quartermaster \'allow Jragi to access my items\'

to remove access:

/tell banker \'deny Jragi to access my money\'

etc

If someone really wanted password options, please make it optional.
