Still needs to fix the chain mail helm recipe.

Player base has increased to what I have seen on at one time to 47 players.  Player base tends to also increase when major events created by developers or players is initiated or when there is an update.  More players obviously log on during the weekends.

I wonder why there was little response yet to the 3d art for the male Nolthrir ( - I admit not having searched very carefully, though, as Nolthrir is probably the most frequently misspelled term on the forums ;) ). I think it is splendid work, and if missing character models are on our wish lists, we should let the 3d artists know that their efforts are appreciated.

I admit I liked a lot the Nolthrir model, the Lava Cave and treasure chests!

In future I would like to see an improvement on chainmail crafting where the quantity of material required reflects the weight of the finished product and a better balance for damages dealt by weapons compared to spells (i.e. it's a lot easier to kill an ulber with an average mage  than with an high skilled weapon user).

But let's see the Nolthrir in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HMFhOo0GYw

The great from 2013.

Eonwind's work on expanding creature scripting/behaviour using magdora's code had been a massive change in game.
Eredin's work on both the changed crafting book layout and the more recent improvements to the user interface have been great.
Since Jilare joined the dev team he has been hitting the code bugs with some old slippers which has cleaned up many of the old bugs which was great to seen done.
The built in crash reporter will no doubt help us keep the game stable.
I'm personally really pleased with the tutorial.

What's to come and hopes for PS in 2014.

Lots more bug fixes. The code base is getting bug fixes committed almost daily ( as I write this ). This includes one found from the crash reporting.
There are lots of crafting changes and additions.
Lots of quests and books.
I would love to see another character model.
I would also love to see a new user interface for crafting (then I might actually craft.)
And finally I would love to see more little bugs being fixed so the over all finish of PS is better.

I would also like to add some praise for all the work done. 0.6 is full of little changes that have a great impact on gameplay in total.  \\o//

I agree to all of the above and I want to add a very little change that I liked a lot: More colours for books. That is so helpful, when organising knowledge and a library, to have the possibility to colour-code the books. I would also love to see more colors like yellow, orange, cyan, brown, purple. I know it may seem superflouus to some, but it is one of these tiny changes with a great impact for people working with this stuff. And I don't think these 5 icons and textures will bloat the game too much.

To all the devs. Keep up the great job and thank you for your efforts!

The game is heading in an awesome direction. To appeal to a community outside of ourselves in 2014, however, I think the game needs to narrow its focus. The work done on questing is fantastic, but compared to the questing systems of the new MMO's cropping up, our system is still lackluster; therefore, while hardcore roleplayers may feel out of the loop even attempting the quests (or maybe these types of quests appeal to us most... up for debate), others will look at that and decide to go elsewhere. This game thrives because of roleplay, so it may be important to fill the notes and loading screens with things that truly capture the essence of why you do everything that you do in the game: to develop your character. A few of the loading screen notes already do this, but why stop there? I think that if we can use that as our focal point both within the game and outside of it, such as when advertising to other communities, we can bring life to the game.

This release has breathed new live into PS. The Dev Team has shown that it is alive and well and moving forward. There have been a number of wonderful suggestions where to take things in 2014. My feeling is that Suno_Regin has nailed it by suggesting to do as much as possible to enhance RP; as that has always been what seperates PS from all the others.

My helm goes off to each and everyone that made this release a reality.

The male Nolthrir is fantastic, and in mentioning it I've heard nothing but positive response from the other players.

I'd love to see all the races have unique models and more character customization in general, myself, but it's probably better to focus on the actual gameplay first.
