I think a better comparison would be...
a wooden plank and a wad of toilet paper
sadly both are cut from the same cloth
as most politicians.

Gore was Clinton\'s vice prez
he was the \'Environmentalist\'
against George \'Oil Man\' Bush
he had no personality and appeared very uncomfortable on camera, and you know how we Americans like our politicians camera-ready at all times. His ideas were unoriginal, and he seemed as fake as Pamela Andersons boobs.

Hope that helps, Caldazar...

I think it\'s a very capitalistic way the run for president is done in the US... I have the impression that you have to have millions and millions of dollars just to have a slight chance to get elected, because you need a large campaign..

And as in Bush\'s case, the presidents are made fools of (perhaps because some of them are truly fools)

But that\'s only my perception of the situation...

well, the reason you need so much is because you need to have half the nation know who you are, and like you, personally I\'ve decided I\'m going to start voting every election, just so that I can say that I didn\'t try to prevent the current idiot from being elected. but since all the candidates are idiots, I\'m forever going to vote for

{drumroll}

INSANE CLOWN POSSE
{/drumroll}

just because I KNOW that they\'re nuts, don\'t have to learn it the hard way

I\'ve been hearing so much good about a wooden plank... perhaps you should elect it instead... who knows, might be an improvement over bush :P

I vote...
Wooden Plank!
Sure he\'s kinda boring and tends to not say too much... then again he doesn\'t go around bombing people either. Goerge Bush\'s main problem is that he believes wholeheartedly in Christianity, and he thinks that the Osama bin Ladens of this world represent Satan. He doesn\'t see the true cause of the plight of third-world countries, and can only attribute the desperation that such conditions breed to Evil. I\'m certainly not defending bin Laden, he is a megalomaniac, but he is the only hero the poor in the Middle East have to stand up to America and her allies. Our American leaders have been using and abusing these folks for way too long, once we put an end to that, there will be no need of insane monsters to defend these people.
I for one will not start voting... at least until there is someone worth electing... but I wouldn\'t suggest holding your breath waiting for that to happen.
Sorry I keep butting in here :)

let\'s not forget that religion has a major role in these hostilities... if there was no religion, there wouldn\'t be nearly as much war..

Ya, but almost every war in the history had nothing to do with religion. Religion is something that the leaders use to rally the masses. For example, Bin Ladin and Stalin. Im sure there are more, I just cant remember anymore, after all, it is summer :).

Gore might appear more dull, but he\'s smarter, thinks about environment, and cares more for the world instead of USA-only then George W(armachine) Bush. But, sad as it is, the charisma is mor eimportant then the political views. Here in Holland it\'s exactly the same :\\

Oh and probably 90% of histor?es wars were caused by religion.

No, religion is just a fasad (spelling?) used me the leaders to make the people willing to fight. For example, Jihad has NOTHING to do with fighting non-muslims. Jihad is a war that goes on in every human.
OK, that didnt make any sence, but you get the point..

if there was no religion you would have trouble rallying the masses..  and the moral values of Good and Evil wouldn\'t be around if there wasn\'t religion... so if there wasn\'t any religion to uphold the moral values, there wasn\'t any evil...

but we will probably never know, because most people are too naive to cast off the shell of religion and face the real world...

religion is for the feeble minded

Yea well, religion will always exist anyways. I know the religions itself do not want war, but that doesnt take away the fact that they are the reason of many wars. I guess we just have to live with it.

Oh, and religious peole are not feeble minded, in most cases they just don\'t know better. If you were born in the Middle East, you\'d be a moslim now. Do you feel feeble minded? :P And I also know a nice theory about that \'good\' can\'t exist when there is no \'evil\' :)

Well, everything has an opposite. Im not sure that there are such a thing as good or bad. It is all in the eye of the beholder. We consider Usama to be evil, but many muslims dont. Not saying that all muslims do.

I daresay most moslims don\'t :P

And I agree with that everything has an opposite. How do you define \'good\' when there is no \'evil\' that you can compare it with?
