Can't start PS - msvcr70.dll entry point not found

Hi there,

I had an awful problem to start PS. Every time I executed either the game or the updater an error immediately appeared saying something like \"... blaah ... entry point not found in msvcr70.dll....\".
After trying around a little bit (and searching the forum ) I found out that this problem appears to be a version conflict. The version of the DLL seems to have to be a very new one, so I got one from here.
This is version 7.00.9466.0 (I had version 7.00.9064.0 and even 7.00.911.... didn\'t work) and it\'s apparently functioning ...
Eager to check this game out!

gives you an .dll which in my case gave an error. Your DLL works perfect.

anyway i had the same problem as monsterboy...
the msvcP.dll was not found, and i dont know where to download that and are the msvcp.dll and msvcr.dll the same thing?

Where can I find msvcp70.dll? that is the one im missing, and i am still looking for it

I downloaded the msvcr70.dll and pasted it in my c:WINDOWS/System directiory but it still doesnt work.
what can i do?

oh sry i downloaded the  msvcp.70 file where can i get msvcr.70.dll?
