Because it is a Beta, would I get to keep my character I have been working on when the full game comes out?

This aint even beta, its pre-alpha. When the game goes alpha, within six months, all characters will be wiped out.

I haven\'t grown too attached to my character, I\'m looking forward to create the character I wanted from the start.. A diaboli.. if they implement them in the next release, that is.

Awww, but I like my charactor- won\'t they atleast remember that so and so had a regester account? It would be rather cruel if they freed up all the names and let people steal each others names... of course if a month goes by and the person hasn\'t shown up, they might hae given up... But at any rate, I think there should be some recognition for people who have players in the demo, even if its just some useless snowglobe or something... maybe all theses crystals we collect would be useable as kron food, as somene suggested....

There\'s nothing worth keeping in our current characters though; no special abilities, no proper money... the only thing I\'d like to keep are my weapons, but it\'s just too much bother and means that some will have an unfair advantage against newbie players even in the first days and weeks of CB\'s release.

as Zabeal said I like my name. I am really quite attached to it. I use it in all my games. All I ask is that I get to keep my name. They can wipe my character just let me keep my name :-)
