Error trying to start PSsetup

\"Can\'t create DirectDraw device\" is the error I get when I try to use PS setup. I can play the game fine, except that it stays in a little window, which is quite annoying.

I have a 1.5ghz processor, 384mb ram, a Radeon 7000 graphics card, and DirectX 9. I am running Windows 98.

Yes I have posted this before. Yes, I put all the PS files into one folder before using the assembler.

Does ANYONE know what this error means?

I have the same problem

Win 98 SE, AMD Athlon XP 2400+, 512 Mb DDR, Direct X9.0b, ---> !!!  HERCULES RADEON 9700 PRO  !!! <----

I\'ve read the other posts, everyone using a Radeon videocard seems to have the \"Can\'t create DirectDraw Device\" problem, including me with the newest drivers

Someone found ah solution on the problem... I\'m now trying to find that post again
