Sorry to ask a really obvious question but... I downloaded an irc thingy and i couldn\'t get on to either of the channels becasue the options were too confusing. Help?

Wish I could offer you help lostprophet, but it was by pure good luck that I managed to set up my IRC client and join where I wanted to join. All I really know is that the first popup screen you get when you load IRC is asking for the server you wish to connect to, and once you do, another popup window will ask which channel (#name) to join.

what client are you using?

and what options were confusing you? I think the website has a guide for mIRC users.
