Something being illegal doesn\'t matter if you never get caught. That\'s where the unnoficial law \"You are allowed to speed if you are late for work and there aren\'t any police around\" comes from.
You can wear multiple snakes as hats around here.  8)
And on topic, Microsoft is EVIL! I use their OS because I can\'t download Linux yet. Forgive me. ;(

I signed the little petition thing. :D

I use Windows because it is, no matter how you look at it, easy to use. Sure, Microsoft is a dictatorship rather than a corporation, but the stuff they make isn\'t half bad. The thing is, they forced the world to use their products, because they want global technological control and houses made of solid gold.

That doesn\'t mean Windows sucks though. It just means that the oppression brought about by their dominating empire has planted seeds of hatred in people\'s minds, and the resulting lack of freedom and choice has spurred the rebellious into creating alternatives to the things Microsoft shove in our PCs whether we want it or not.

However, their power now is massive, and they still crave more. TCPA is a demon spawned from the gates of Hell (also known as the Microsoft Executive Office) that they plan to unleash on the world and suppress all freedom in computers.

If this becomes law, there will be chaos everywhere. Nobody is going to let this happen without a fight. They\'ll be constantly attacked by the greatest hacker groups of the world (think Fluffy Bunny and others) untill either Microsoft fall or the world blows up. Personally I think doomsday is nearer.

Bill Gates is the ruler of an evil global empire. He is gaining power, and soon Microsoft will control the world. The governments of the world will use their products. With this power and the way they can force what they make into the world, they will take over. Get ready, because the world will never be the same after the Microsoft takeover.

Well i think it sux indeed.

but i\'d also think about the world itself.

it\'s impossible to get that working in holland because we have a privacy law they will be braking so they cannot get the law to bend in their way\'s specially the privacy part.

although i still see it as a threath to the society and to open source i don\'t think it will ever succeed aslong as people sign the site and try to avoid microsoft in his plans.

i find it entertaining... do some research, people!  TCPA is a chip that secures the bios and kernel of a system at the hardware level. it acts as a defence against some types of hacks and virus\'s.  Microsoft\'s world domination platform(palladium) most likely won\'t even support it, they replace it with a different chip that allows their security/domination software to run in hardware protected memory.  Microsoft says that linux, etc will run on Palladium systems, but we\'ve got no guaruntee\'s(meaning :if it\'s not windows, it can go to hell)  the other gripe would be Digital Rights Management - the pet project of the RIAA, that would try and secure against pirated mp3\'s and stuff.  but it\'s not gonna happen, because NO ONE would buy such a system.  anyways, look around, and don\'t always believe the first thing you see...

Exactly!  The thing about this sort of hardware solution is that someone out there will offer an alternative. That is capitalism at work. you don\'t like Palladium? dont buy palladium hardware. Linux and mac will run on non palladium systems and software like this game will drive consumer interest in Open source software like Linux. Microsoft is on a trend that indicates a certain lack of understanding about the market. Savvy computer users are more and more learning that MS is not the only solution and that Open source doesn\'t have to be a mysterious  realm for the thechno geek only. They will drive away customers with this policy and like all seeming monopolies in a free market, they will lose market share to a competitor.

Let us insult Microsoft in peace ok? :P
Anyway, this is my opinion:
MICROSOFT IS EVIL POWER TO THE GREAT LINUX PENGUIN GOD
Anyway, some people are missing the point. The requirement for this to be integrated into systems is going to be passed into US law. This is a violation of capitalism, but the Constitution never mentioned capitalism.

How to not belive loads of crap:
If something is hard to believe, then there is osmething you don\'t know.
This TCPA article is hiding something. But Microsoft is still evil.
