FFXI has a very good auction-system. There is a auction-house where you can put your items for sale, and when you do so they are removed from your inventory.
There is also a thing called Bazar, which technically means that the player marks which things in his inventory he want to sell, and a little figure will be visible above his/her name, making other people aware of his/her desire to trade.  The people that want to buy, simply looks in the sellers inventory, and buys the things he/she wants. Just like at a NPC-merchant.

You\'re right, this is not possible at the moment. The reason is probably that there are still a lot of things to do, and this feature is not on the top of the list  ;)

I\'m newbi and i have a lot to learn too....

I just take part in BloodClaw guild, because i\'m interested in building, find object , develop new one, gathering resource, and so....
I hope this kind of interaction with the bit world of PS will implemented erliest.....
