Great game!
« on: November 15, 2003, 11:02:26 pm »
I was just browsing the web and I came across your game! Great job, just fix the laggy netcode and it will be really fun!  Keep up the good work and don\'t let anything discourage you from making planeshift a great mmorpg!

Crystal Blue will be released at the end of the year, we all hope it will be less laggy.

Too bad, people just want to keep the gems for themselves  :D

The crystals are used as \"money\" currently, they will be replaced by another kind of money in the next release (Crystal Blue). You\'ll find more information about that in the game background (Setting).

You can buy mugs and weapons if you manage to collect enough of them, which can be difficult now as more players are hunting them and the weapons are very expensive. Have a look at Trokin\'s Very Fine Shop-o-Stuff to see the list.

* wonders if the unfair balance price/number of spawns is a way to push people into guilds *  :P

Fisrt sorry for my bad english (I\'m Italian).

I agree to Ele about PS, it\'s a very good start!
Congratulations to every people that have take a part!
(if i think it is free, a lot of free time dedicated...)

I have great passion to strategy game, fantasy story, and RPG game, I discovered MMORPGs just 2 month ago, and I rest fascinated....
The first one was under development World of Warcraft, I think will be great, but it is commercial.
If I will have enougth cash I will buy it.

How many developers take part in project?
Is true that the headquarter is in Italy?
I\'m a simple  programmer in an industrial enviroment, but my dream is to take a part in a entertainment software house in a far future.

However, hoter congratulation for your great work!

There is about 10-15 main people and another 10 or so that are contributors.   And of course we will accept any patches, graphics, sounds, scripts, etc from people that we feel are good.

Talad ( the director of the project ) is based in Italy along Lead artist ( Boonet ).  The rest of us are in different places around the world ( makes meeting in irc difficult sometimes :) ).

We all work in our spare time on this project and we feel that we have lofty but reachable goals.

I can\'t count the amount of people who have said that, and then they were never seen again... But good luck with falling in love. It\'s easier said than done. :)
