no hardware acceleration

i get this message when i try to run in gl mode, any ideas on what it means?

It most probably means you don\'t have OpenGL drivers. Hardware acceleration means in this case a 3D graphics card that accelerates the rendering of 3D scenes.

In software mode, without this feature, you will experience slower graphics, and the quality of the images will be lower.

What are the specification of your system ? Can you describe it precisely (graphics card, operating system, directx version, physical memory and so on) ? Maybe you meet the requirements but lack the proper drivers.
