when installing it says...... "writing error" !!!!! help please

it says, error opening file for writing. it says that on all the files. how can i solve this.

Have you followed the download instructions? You need to download the 5 part files, aswell as the Reassembler (\"run_me_first.bat\") into the same folder, and then run the .bat file. This will create a new file in the same directory. Use the new file to install the game.

yes i did all fo that, then the icon PS comes up and i double click on it, to install it. and when it starts downloading, it says error opening files to write... i dont know what to do

Then I think perhaps one or more of your part files have become corrupt while you were downloading them. Use the MD5 checker tool on the downloads page and use it to compare the signatures of your files to those shown on the website. If they differ, you need to re-download that file.

Alternatively, you can download the full game pre-compiled and in .exe format. Go here to download this file.

i downloaded the whole game in the pre-compiled form, and it still gives the same error message as before.

How are you downloading these files? If you are using a download accelerator, they often result in CRC errors in the download.  If so, just use the regular downloader in your browser.

i am using the regular downloads that pop up when i click on the link.
