Looks GREAT! The wings can even be added in 2 places as I see it. The more conventional position would be just below it\'s claw-arms, having it\'s lower body hanging down, the wings could fold over it\'s body then when it\'s not flying. If you want it to be really freaky you could have the wings on it\'s tail, and it\'s entire body dangling upside down when it\'s flying.

Well I\'ll utter a bit of critisism here, but that doesn\'t mean itsn\'t fantastic what you do.

Anyway, I like the moogie-picture a lot more then the one from Seperot and the one of this insect.
Because you use a lot of bright colors, and that\'s better for pictures of \'good\' (I mean the alignment) things/people then for chaos/evil ones.
So i suggest to use in for i.e. the insect-like animal darker colours and only shades of a dark colour.
The evil head was better coloured: not to much completely diffrent colours but a lot tones of the same dark red.

This explains also why the uncoloured drawings are sometimes better then the final result: there is more shadow and your audience can imagine the colours themselves.

It\'s very possible that i\'m not completely correct, because I\'m absolutely not artistic, and I know nothing about it.

YAY, now thats the kind of thing I\'m after.

I do see what you mean by the coulouring being important in showing further what a character/monster is, ie if somethings done in pastell pink with highlights of white, then making it look villanous or nasty may well be challenging, alternately if something is coloured in black with deep red highlights then it will be more likely to look vilanous.

as far as the bug goes I was going for a tropical feel as the worlds largest insects are found in the tropics, so I figureed it would need tropical colours to blend into that kind of scene

the seperot one was coloured to look like a pirate: I dont exactly know why, just was

Thankyou so much that was the best critique I\'ve had yet:)

well three things, one I re coloured the seperot pic

I actually like it more now, it sort of has a dark velvet feel to it, the eye is now red though I was thinking how nice a pair of icy light blue eyes would look against allmost jet black fur, with similarly dark hair with a blueish shine topped off with a long pure white coat and matching vest and pants...

I feel my character sketch aproaching...

and heres a re colour of the insect thing, rather more wasteland evil looking now:

and finaly an early sketch of the Tarantula T rex hybrid.. I\'m not sure about these traits but first ones allways odd

as allways, comments/constructive criticism are more than welcome, as are interesting requests :)

Hey hey Kintall,

That\'s amazing work
I wonder, if you ever feel bored or inspired (wichever you prefer ;)) would you please have a go at lil\' old Kely?
I\'m a Nolthrir druid trying to understand nature, already well known with the lands and waters of Yliakum, but a stranger to it\'s skies for i will never experience the priviledge of flight. To make up for this loss, a falcon (wich i have no name for yet) decided to share his live and to become my familiar and close friend and together we experience nature in all her glory.

As for looks well, Kely is a herbalist/druid and does some brown and a bit of blue ways and this is reflected in his robe and (walking) staff. Also does he carry a sickle on his side (to cut herbs and lag monsters :P)
His skin is somewhat greenish with long dark hair.

I agree with Taldor here, the second colouring of the is much better :)

pun of the day: I\'ll talk to the devs, I found a bug on the forums (omg..)

Great Kintall! It really makes a difference. :]

And WOW can you draw fast!

And to tell you the truth, you just helped a PS subproject! :))  It\'s easier to think when you have a pic infront of you.

Keep up the good work!
