Maybe it\'s my traditional art background talking, but I seem to enjoy your sketches more than the finished pieces. The way they\'re colored feel \"sterile\" to me. I see line art with colored gradients. That may be all well and good for you, but it falls short of my expectations after seeing one of your \"rough sketches.\"
Maybe you could increase the amount of light/shadow. The colored gradients don\'t go deep enough to really bring the pieces out. The light green cloth on the recent pic looks rather flat. Not enough darkened spots to make it look like he\'s
wearing it. I also noticed that in that pose, he\'s not casting any shadows on himself. If you have a strong enough light source to create highlights, you would need to add darker shades to your colors to balance it. I also agree with Abemore about the pants on that assassin, but I disagree about the \"loopy sash.\" It adds motion to an otherwise static figure.
Don\'t get me wrong, your art is good (and rather popular!

). You seem prolific in your ability to produce it, something I can no longer do. Here\'s hoping that you can take your art to the fabled \"next level\", something most artists fall short of.
