What you seem to be misunderstanding, is that you can do the following:

1) Create your *own* set of rules (not derived from PS rules)
2) Create your *own* artwork (not derived from PS artwork)
3) Create your *own* 3D models (not derived from PS 3D models)
4) Create your *own* dialogue/text  (not derived from PS dialogue/text)
5) Create your *own* music/sounds (not derived from PS music/sounds)
6) Distribute your own game using the PS engine, following the remaining rules and conditions of the licences

...NOT modify bits and pieces of PS and use them, *even if it\'s only for your client and no one else\'s*

EDIT: However, I *believe*, but am not totally sure, that you can create, say, your own entirely new dwarf skin and use it, as long as it does not contain anything from the original skin.  But you\'ll have to confirm this with the devs.

Xandria, my nude skins were my completely my work fitting into the mask of the planeshift work so that they would fit in the coordinates of the 3d models in the game.

I believe they were totally my work, though they were drawn to fit the 3d models, but Talad has already said they broke the license.  So because my skins were being used by the 3d model coordinates, that restricts me from giving them to the community.

This is contradictory to what Talad says.  I created my own artwork, but I created it the same size as the planeshift artwork.  Talad says it broke the license.  Maybe you\'d better re-explain rule # 2.

We always liked \"fans art\", it gives color to the community; we never deleted any post regarding that art even if it was breaking PS License to certain extents. This because this kind of art was done for the enjoyment of PS players and in line with PS style. On this thread we stopped the nudity pics, because not in line with our game direction.

Nonetheless the PS license is in place, so I must say you can\'t do any changes... hope you get my position.

Yeah, I got it, I\'ve long stopped working on skins.  Once again I apologize for the commotion my plugins have caused.  

I am now focused on designing weapons for planeshift.  I am doing them completely from scratch so they take forever.  I\'ve been posting them in the fan art section.
So far I\'ve designed a sword, an axe, and a staff.

This is why the government makes lots and lots of laws; the police can arrest you for something if they need to. Having this liscence in place allows people who make things he approves of (cool skins of enkis in chainmail) get through and people who makes things he doesn\'t approve of (for example, charging crystals for skins created by modifying the Planeshift team\'s artwork) shut down. Ah well; it\'s a good system, I guess.

It appears my post was misunderstood again...

That wasn\'t mean to be a pick-\'n-choose list; I meant that if you follow everything in that list you could theoretically create your own game using the PS engine.  This is what the PS licence allows you to do.
