Random Events + NPC Names
« on: January 25, 2004, 09:03:34 am »
ive seen this done in some other games and its really cool
what happens is once a week at a random day and time and random town you will get a message saying something like \"the merciless band of orcs approach from the north. They will invade the city any moment!\"
that will give people who dont want to fight and the weak to flee. now in about 10 minutes orcs will respawn everywhere in the city.
people who login who logged out in the city will be takin outside the city gates and people may still enter but will get a warning. this just adds some excitement and stuff to keep you on your toes

now to the npcs
adding a more realistic factor into the game it would be more real if the npcs were named as \'Stranger\' untill you asked who they were.
would also make quests harder to spoil for others :)

Wow, it had been a whole week since someone suggested that I think?   Hehehehe, sorry, I just find it funny how often that one comes up.
Ninjas have feelings too.  Mostly they feel like dancing.

Be good for PC\'s as well.
