With infared you don\'t see infrared as red and the other colours as blue. With infrared there is a colour more then normal so it\'s impossible to imagine. There is nothing that prevents someone from seeing 4 main colours (Infrared, Red, green, blue) if he is able to see infrared.
I know it is difficult to represent that on a RGB-based screen, but there should be a better solution then the one I quoted.

Leander is basically saying what I said and I think he is correct, nightvision basically toggles, on when it\'s too dark to see otherwise and in other circumstances it is off...so as long as there is light they can see colors...I would suspect that the bright colors would be to attract mates...just an assumption though...

Its not like they closed their eyes and wished real hard for colors to attract thier mates. Then again, maybe its to attract other races, maybe they\'re swingers.

I just wanted to say that colorblindness and nightvision had nothing to do with each other and that they should work at the same time.
