On a lighter note, the midterms are over, and I will post my bio as well as some info on the members section pretty soon, it\'s gonna be good, and it\'s gonna lack spelling errors.

Monketh, most people respect \"elf-boy\" a lot more than the Cabali. But lack of respect and underestimation should be kept separate. People always said that Cabal should be more secretive, and now they are, and everyone assumes they\'re inactive. Well, that\'s just great. I, for one, will not underestimate my opponent.

Not that they are our \"opponents\"...  RIGHT, Davis?  

As of this moment, no guild has done anything truly evil that I am aware of.  (Except for the Cabal being jerks, but that\'s not quite \"Evil\".)  Therefore we have no enemies, and we will support and help EVERYONE equally (in peaceful ways).  

Mirth is absolutely not going to get involved in a war between evil guilds.  In addition, we will NEVER ally with an evil guild in a guild war.  (If there\'s a storyline conflict such as Yliakum being invaded, and everyone being called to help, obviously we would stand with the evil guilds to save the city.)  In no other situation will we further the evildoers.

So I hope all of you sort out your differences peacefully, but if you don\'t please be aware that Mirth will offer healing and aid at fair prices to both sides.  I hereby declare us neutral in the event of hostilities between DE, CV, and the Cabal.

This is your average story of the \"we won\'t do anything until the world is invaded\" wussiness.(pardon the fraises, since I have only respect for Mirth and it\'s members) It\'s your lack of participation that will send Yliakum to it\'s doom and back before you have anything to say about that. The change shall be sudden, and once you have realized it, there will be nothing you can do to stop it. The enemy will be too powerful, and growing with more minions coming every day. The guilds that \"could have\" prevented it by uniting with the so-called \"evil once\", would now be too weak alone to do anything. We face doom my children, and those that have fought in the war will be cast out from Yliakum under the cold and harsh fist of the enemy. Mark my words, for the clouds of war are gathering, and the prophecy shall be complete. Those that once were allies (mainly Annah) will now be enemies, and allegiances shall be tested. :diamond:

On a side note, I proclaim myself the self nominated \"Prophet of Yliakum.\" The job title comes with a side order of fries and dip.

I think it would make things interesting to incorporate a story into this whole war issue.  A massive player driven story leading up to a huge battle for Yliakum.  

It has all the good story elements:
Group of evil conquerors sweeping into Yliakum aided by greedy mercenaries.
Good guilds and evil guilds uniting together to destroy them.
A group of uber-sexy elves on the front-lines.

And we\'ll still get chance to bash the hell out of each other too.

But I\'d say that instead of being secretive and let people think that he has less members, he shows off and lies about active member count. Therefore pushes other side to gain more power.

And why would an evil alligned guild help the good guilds to prevent the destruction of Yliakum? This is just a war between two evil guilds because they hate eachother as I see it now.. no need for good or neutral guilds to get involved. Just let the evil kill itself

Shut up! I have had enough with this war and other assorted stupidity. There is no war now and when there is one you wont know. Why discuss it then? Just die when you are killed. Thats all that is expected of you and pretty much all you are fit for.

Aendar is cooking up a war and peddling it to these other suckers. Alucard is an idiot who likes to chant \"WAR!WAR!\" while swinging a dead rat like a doomsday cultist. And finally Drak is Drak. So I suggest they zip it and not precipitate the dismantlement of the motley band of fools quaintly called \"Calen Vakhar\".

Mercenaries and BISM are no one\'s enemies or friends. They are swords for hire. Likewise, the Cabal is no one\'s enemy or friend. We just want everyone\'s stuff and among them, Calen Vakhar\'s. Nothing personal. Just Business. You don\'t hate death because its business is taking your lives. You can\'t. Plus its nothing personal.  

The Calen Vakhar claim they want to fry our guts and I am only too happy to believe them. Just because elves prance among daisies in their green tutus doesn\'t make them any less warriorlike(or does it;)). So if they want to fight us I see nothing to object about. They want, its unlikely that they\'ll ever get to, but still.

Talk of war with the Cabal is simply absurd. When the Cabal fights there is no talk. Silent wars, silent deaths. Sudden and unseen. The head rolling on the floor doesn\'t realise how it came to be there nor does it need to;).


Evil is.......Let me just say Evil is not open for discussion. Its too much work for me explain and too much effort for pea brained idiots to comprehend. I know someone who once misunderstood and because of that, I lost a friend. Unwarranted and sad. I did love and was a true friend but things got out of hand............

All I\'d like to say is that don\'t force The Cabal to unleash something that would probably kill you several times over and in more ways than one.

CV doesn\'t show any evil goals nor made any evil deeds. Didn\'t go forward any alignment. Just because they ally with a strong guild, doesn\'t mean they take their alignment.
So maybe you see them as evil for some reason, but maybe keep it for yourself and don\'t put it as a fact

I guess I have to say this again.  This is the Calen Vakhar thread.  The thread for my guild.  The Cabal and the Mercenaries are in this thread discussing the war.  So do not dare tell me to stop this discussion when if you look at the last few pages you will see me saying that exact same thing.  You tell your guildmembers to drop it.

The Cabal started this war.  They hired the Merc guild to attack me before anything about a war was even conjured up.  War was declared because the Cabal hired Mercs against me.  Again maybe you should talk to your members.

And do not tell me who I am or am not allowed to make my enemies.  The Mercs are my enemies.  Don\'t agree with my motivations.  Too bad.  It\'s not your guild.

And this has nothing to do with allignments.  I only brought up the cv vs. evil thing when I was talking about incorporating a storyline into the war.  I was talking suggestions.

And don\'t pretend to understand the Cabal\'s machinations.  We do nothing but what is profitable. Right now only things worthwhile in your guild are you and Alucard. Your scalp would make an excellent soup bowl and Alucard\'s hide excellent gloves.  Besides that you are worthless. You\'d have to pay me to atack you .

Now Now Aendar. We used to be good friends. Why fight me? Do you think its worth it? Do you think you can win? Have you seen anyone ever do so? Lets be friends. I do not like destroying things I like and I like you.

If there ever is a war, we will probably be  available for hire for either side- if they want us. That is all I have to say for now.

News Update:

The Calen Vakhar and the Blitzers have signed a Non-Agression Pact.  Hopefully this is the beginning of a long-lasting friendship between our two guilds.

The war with the Cabal is over and the Mercs are no longer our enemies.

Maxxith and Azekyll decided to leave the guild, so good luck in whatever they choose to do now.
