Perhaps the current GMs can create a (short) list of unacceptable behaviors and publish them here.

In general though, I prefer to simply give the power to people we believe will do a good job and then let everyone use good judgement.  If their judgement turns out not to be good, they won\'t stay GMs.

No certain ratio required or envisioned.  The concept is just to have semi-decent coverage of when people are on.  The whole notion here was to help protect MB from the griefers, spammers, obscenity etc that seems to be growing there.

Thanks to Aineko for coding this.

I\'d be inclined just to leave it to their own judgement. I think it\'s common sense as to what should be allowed and what not. But if someone really wants to type a post on the rules, I\'m not stopping them.

I have so far kicked two people from the game.

#1 Was Maxe because he first said the game sucked, that the devs didn\'t make any progress. When everybody told him to have patience and that the game was made on a voluntary basis he told us to go durn ourselves. That was enough reason to kick him I beleive.

#2 Was Kixie(AKA whemyfield) because he thought it would be fun to spam the chat while everyone was trying to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of molecular blue.

I think it\'s obvious that if you do these things, you will be kicked or muted.

Edited for language.

it all took place in the matter of 2 seconds, i thought i was only 3 lines. i dont know how he had such good reaction time but it was a joke i typed an appology shortly after on, and a kick i never even got a warning for which i find completly unfair and innapropriate considering it was only a joke.

Stop whining. The lesson you should\'ve learned from this is to not spam in the first place. Saying \"sorry\" afterwards doesn\'t make it right. Just move on.

Agreed. We don\'t need to develop a bureuocracy to manage 7 GMs. If you are going to appoint a GM, they should be someone, who can make their own decisions.

Don\'t bring up this stuff on the boards only going to cause big problems, what happens between a GM and the person kicked should stay between those two...We trust in your judgement no need to reassure us.

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Great Idea. Finally disturbers of the peace will be dealt with. Good choice devs.

Just a question... I thought you said that no more work was going to be done on the Molecular Blue client. Oh well. Good choice. The list of GMs are very agreeable. Just a question, how long does the kicked player stay offline? Can they sign on right away or is their a time period where they cannot sign on?

The devs didn\'t work on it, Aineko did. :) They helped make sure it worked, yes, but they didn\'t make the stuff.

A person can log on right away. It\'s just like getting dropped from the server.

Ok, just wondering if an IP block was implemented for it... it might be something to consider.
