how do you delete/make new character?

I made a character, then I learned more about the game and characters and decided on something else. But when I made a new character it gave me database errors.

I can\'t make any new character because it keeps giving me the error. But, I can still log on with my first one.

How do I get rid of my original character and make a new one?
