Need actual solution

I\'ve waited for 30 seconds, I\'ve waited for over an hour, and I\'ve continued waiting without logging in and when I finally do the sever stills says Hexnom is logged on, but I haven\'t been logged on since about this morning.
Since the waiting doesn\'t work, nor does changing the sever to 203.81.47.74 trying 203.81.47.27, and it won\'t allow me to make a new character so I can\'t try logging in as a different one. Is there anyway somebody can tell the server that Hexnom isn\'t logged on.
I haven\'t seen any solution to the problem in the forum, just the typical \"wait 30 sec\", \"not my problem\" or a lovely \"SUXORS 2 b U nt 733t liek meh\" attitude. I\'m doing this just so I can sit for two hours or more waiting for the world to be constructed, so I\'m showing some intrest and dedication to giving the game a fair shake, so would someone please figure out a solution to this so us N00bs don\'t keep having to clutter up the boards waiting for one

The only way this will get fixed is if a player fixes it. Official development on the MB client ended over a year ago. You\'re really not missing much, anyway.

In Crystal Blue many of the old bugs will be eradicated. Sure, we\'ll have hundreds of new ones... but we\'ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Just be patient.

erm ...i think he\'s takling about that PlaneShift + winXP two-hour-loading thingie.

if so, check in the \"Technical Help\" subforum the \"FAQ of technical problems\" ...i think i\'ve seen an explanation on that there ...to make it short - on some winxp machines it takes about 2h to load PS for the first time ...the next times it\'s much faster (not lightning-fast, but can be counted in minutes :])

Crj: Well, I still stand by what I said... you really arn\'t missing much by not playing MB, imho. A \"3D chatroom\", isn\'t that what they call it? Sure, there\'s plenty of nice things to be found ingame, don\'t get me wrong. Pleasant people to talk with (most of the time), the crystal hunt, exploring... but really, nothing that justifies trying for more than about an hour to get the thing to work on your machine.

All he really wants is for someone to manually disconnect him (i.e. force the server to forget about past connections) if such a thing were possible - it\'s not an altogether unreasonable request.  Unfortunately with all the devs focused on CB it\'s *unlikely* that any sort of automated way of doing this will happen.

Ardarkhan: Can you get a different IP address by restarting your computer?

Just have a GM boot Hexnom.  Problem solved.  (Well, part of it at least. )
