The problem is back?

Hi! I\'m new to Plane Shift: Molecular Blue and I\'m having problems connecting. I got stuck in \"Initializing World\". I thought you guys already fixed it so I wasn\'t worried a bit to try it. I\'m using S3 Graphics ProSavage DDR, my OS is WinXP and my connection is broadband.

Have you read this thread and tried any solutions to the problem? Have you tried waiting the recommended 2 hours for your first connection?

Well, as long as the program hasn\'t disappeared from your screen, it hasn\'t crashed. Remember, don\'t let anything disturb it. Don\'t click, alt+tab, look at task manager, let a screensaver appear, or let your computer go on standby/powersaving modes.

I\'m not saying all of those are necessary, but they are all things that could interrupt, so to be absolutely sure you have a problem, please try avoiding those first.

I am looking for a slightly more useful reply here. I can\'t see your screen, so I don\'t know what you did unless you tell me. I\'m not there to point at the monitor for you.

Now, I\'ll assume that you mean this: You ran the game, it started Initialising World, and then it crashed. Ya?

In this case I would advise downloading the new run_me_first.bat file (located here) and using it to make sure none of your .part files were corrupted when you installed the game. If they are all ok, try running the game in Slow mode, rebooting, reinstalling, making sure all your drivers are up to date, and that your hardware is capable of running the game.

Minimum specs that I would personally recommend anyone are 500mhz, 216mb RAM, and a graphics card with at least 64mb.

its fixed now... maybe its because of the folder behid the window. i created a shortcut on my desktop and it took me 5mins to load the game. but there is another prob... when i run in opengl mode, all i see is white, white people, white buildings, etc. but please do not trouble yourself anymore, i\'ll just do my best to fix the prob...
