i can get a pc:
25oo+ athlon XP
512 mbram
128 videocard
80 gig hard disk
..... for only 500$
so where the hell do you get your computer that is costs such a gigantic ammount of money??

i agree that when you run 2 clients from the same IP, you need a special key to be able to run them both at the same time.

I have 1 good idea,

buy a new computer!

now was that so hard to come up with.

The keys idea was keys that are given by PS.
So if there\'s more than one person in a house that plays PS, they\'ll have to ask for a key to be able to play at the same time.

But I\'m not sure how it\'ll prevent them from getting many keys, and running many clients with bots.

So it\'s actually useless, because people would be able to open a client with macros on another comp.

What I meant was if two people would play on two diffrent comps using one IP.

I don\'t think keys will work since this is an open source program. Someone can just recompile the program with a new function that returns a randomized key to the server and viola! They can have as many connections as they want.

Cryofame, the trick with the keys is that they have to be given to you by the server- if you just randomly generate one the server will reject it (this can be done by the server randomly generating a number and then sending both that number and an encrypted version of that number to the client).

By using large numbers (256 bits or so) it should be *pretty* difficult to hack.

quiksilver012 next time you want to keep posting can you edit your original post instead of spamming 1 sentence at a time?

From memory you level up from cool newbie at 50 posts.

Your a cool newbie now... Im assuming you mean what is after cool newbie and how many posts does it take to advance.

That is just a title, others will judge when you advance from the \"noob\" rank. Spamming doesn\'t help...
