Request: guild listings
« on: April 28, 2004, 05:13:17 pm »
Greetings and congratulations to the developers!

Planeshift is a great game and all are worthy of praise who help to create it.

I would request though a link on the main site devoted to officially recognized guilds that included as a minimum a breif description, website*, their values and the membership status (accepting open or closed).

Thanks and keep up the good work...

*I think all guilds should have a website as a requirement to being granted \"official\" status. If a guildmaster is serious about having a guild, they should be more than willing to spend a little time making a website.

The easier would probably be to use the in-game data (i have noticed that the current guild window query for a website) to make a page with the guilds. This would allow the devs to fix a ranking system and avoid problems with the subjectivity of ordering (and most important, require no one to maintain it).

There\'s a thread in the Guilds forum that lists a few sites with guilds and their sites. Some are fuller than bbb.

I have copies of [Windows] 3.1, 3.11, 95, and 98, too. Not to mention various versions of MS-DOS
