YOu have to remember, RPGs probobly started as a bunch of people pretending to be knights and what-not and \'attacking\' eachother, from this, rules developed and pen and paper RPG\'s came about... graphical RPG\'s were originally jsut graphical representations of pen and paper RPGs... even now, off the top of my head, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Knights use the d20 system (a dice rolling system) from Dungeons and Dragons in the background to decide what the outcomes of your actions would be... pretend there are little elves living in the computer rolling dice for you :P The point is, in a pen and paper RPG, you might declare your attack and throw a die, your opponent would defend by throwing another die, and if your roll was higher than his, you\'d land the attack for maybe the differance of the dice, if his was higher, he\'d successfully block the attack... this is basically what happens behind the scenes in an RPG.

...And let\'s not forget adventurous alchemists, hm? ^^

Anyway, the motto of PS is \"A universe is not enough\", meaning there will be some way to travel between planes.

I do not see why, somewhere in the very distant future, the Devs cannot make a Sci-fi world based in another plane. But let\'s just get the basics first. That means swords and magic.

Well the sci-fi world would come after the surface. But it might come.
