how about this, make it so that instead of closing it you limit each person to one thread called \"my ideas on (insert suject here)\" and make them put all there ideas into one thread like i do

That won\'t work right.
It\'ll be really hard to discuss something in a thread when it got many topics of discussion. Since the Wish List is for discussion and not actually suggesting ideas, why make it harder to discuss?

The devs skim through the wishlist looking for anything that catches their eye, don\'t think they would look through a large number of long threads, each with 10 different ideas and an undescriptive thread title. The best way to cut down on spam is for people to use the search button first, but that\'ll never happen :P
