Cant open jam or others!

i got windows xp and i downloaded whole source code and stuff am new to c++ learnining it was hopeing to c and watch the source code to get whole idea faster of makeing mmorpg but for some resone i can open the files same as make,build any one got idea why i cant open the files?
plz help btw i cant find project workspace or project file so i can compile the source so if have any idea plz post btw sry for my bad english .

Uhh... you don\'t sound very programmer-ly to me. If you are going to compile anything check out the latest CVS and give the devs a hand with bughunting. You also need to get crystal space, the 3d engine planeshift runs on, and cel, an entity layer that hooks in to crystal space and is used by planeshift. If my memory servers me, you can get info on checking out the cvs for CS, CEL, and PlaneShift here: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=649 here: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=31572 and here: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=8351 respectively. You don\'t use jam when compiling on Micro$narf Win-doze , you have to use VC++.
