Server is not running/reachable

I have been playing today and then the lag increased immensely.  Now, when I try to log in, I get the Server is not running or is not reachable message.  I am not running a firewall... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the server address in the connection window is correct, and make sure you are not running any firewall or connecting through a proxy which blocks udp traffic. Make sure your internet connection is working ;) Assuming that this wasn\'t written from the computer you have planeshift on :P

Search teh forums. Live by that motto and no forum regular will ever have cause to bite your head off and/or feed you to a trepor.
