No Hardware Accel
« on: July 13, 2004, 06:53:24 pm »
Im using windows ME. - Bad start, eh ?

Basically, i load up the game in GL mode, and it gives the information, no hardware accelleration, with a box next to it, then an error, and closes.

Error:-

Psclient has caused an error in OPENGL32.DLL
Psclient will now close.

I run in safe mode, and it works fine.

There is probably a fix somewhere, but i cant find it .. heh.

Which graphics card do you have? Have you tried updating your graphics driver?

Umm... find out your gfx card manufacturer and card type, go to his website, download the driver and install it?

right click on the desktop > properties. There it is on the configuration tab. (Just above the resolution.)

But make sure you have the right section, cause my card is a Diamond Viper, but my addapter is an nVidia RIVA TNT2 so I have to get RIVA TNT2 drivers and not Diamond Viper drivers
