« on: July 15, 2004, 03:21:24 pm »
I just got a new video card (radeon 9800pro) and i\'m looking for some high tech games to play... can someone point me in the direction of some demos of high tech games?

Far Cry. That should push it to it\'s limits. :)

I love thief, and it was one of the main reasons that i got my new vid. card (my old Radeon7500 didnt suport pixel-shader). But unfortunately, the demo of Thief3 does not support windows98 :(.

Yeah, that was one of the first games i tried on it... but also unfortunately, i can not run it with setings higher than medium for most and high for some... well i mean my card can take all the setings on max, but because of the amount of energy that it requires, my 350 watt powersupply can not (and you know how much energy these new cards need).
So right now im spending most of my time shoping for a good afordable powersupply.
