A vast Unexplored world awaits! ?

as with other mmorpg\'s half of the fun is exploring the huge world(for me at least)

so will planeshift have a huge world?

i know it is all underground  and that to me seems kind of limiting. but with the progress the dev\'s made so far anything seems possible  

compared to other mmorpg\'s how big do oyu think the world will be once the city gates are opened??

PS will eventually be huge. Yliakum (the stalactite) itself, is very large, 8 levels deep. Hydlaa is on the top level, and it is far from finished. Theres also the Stone Labyrinths wich lead to the surface, and then theres the \"A universe is not enough\" saying on the main site, thus the name \'Plane-shift\' suggesting there will be multiple planes or worlds/universes to explore. The Death Realm is probably one of these. So the answer is yes, Planeshift will be huge, but not likely any time soon.

will the gates be opened in CB or will we have just a few monsters to fight will we have even a little area to explore outside the citie?

What all we\'ll have to explore in CB is unknown, and the DEVs aren\'t saying. We\'ll have to wait til its released to see what areas we have to explore, but you can take a look at a short video they recorded that shows a bit of the town, a couple monsters, etc. in CB. You may have to download Divx to play the video.

In CB we will be able to leave the city(going into plains and such) to fight monsters, explore, etc.

how do you know this?? are you sure...   cuz if you sure then W000000T THATS GUNNA BE AWESOME !!!!!

does anyone have an inkling as to when CB comes out...  rumor has it twill be pretty soon??

There will definitely be more to explore.

Release is said to be earliy August, probably(my guess) the end of first week/mid second week or so.

Well, anything about CB\'s release date is a rumour, but you could say its gonna come out pretty soon (please don\'t discuss this here, there are a million threads like it :P).

The splash screen for CB has been released and it features Ojaveda, the home village of the Enkidukai. So, by my guess, we will be able to visit this place. How many more cities it will have, I don\'t know. I think (and this is my personal guess) there will be at least an extended Hydlaa (and I say this because there are new parts shown on the movie), Ojaveda and plains connecting the two. There will also be the Arena, where there is open PvP fighting. Renders of it were shown in the interview with Luca. I don\'t know where it will be located though.

I am just hoping the team picks up some new artists and modelers so they can expand the world after CB.

well i talked to accraig a while ago on the subject of new races in cb (klyros, xacha) welp here it is

Klyros will not be released with the main Crystal Blue release. They may be added later in an update and we can take requests for players to switch races. As for the name thing, that is something you would have to take up with Talad. We are trying to force a more RPG feel to it so having numbers in the name is not in that theme
