FS#5982 - Please remove the "Buy Skill" button
Having a “Buy Skill” and “Buy Skill Rank” button is silly; the “Buy Skill” button is obsolete. No one uses it. It’s silly, and confusing to new players, such as the one I was helping recently. He asked me where the iron mine was, so I took him to the one on BD1. When we got there we found he had no training in mining, so we went back to town and he bought some training… but not a whole level. Since he was at 0 to start with, he still couldn’t mine. Didn’t discover that until we were back at the iron mine.
He didn’t stick around long. I’ve no idea whether this issue was a factor.

test the unreal version, will not change
legacy anymore
I agree with this, another legacy option that is no longer needed or really used.
I always use this button to look up the training costs. But yeah, that's the only thing it is good for. Maybe if the button is discarded, the system message could be changed to "You have gained some <skill> training for <amount> tria."
Before removing something, there is a need to solve bugs related to those buttons.
The situation: then an blue bar on indicator shows up that I cannot train to a new level of skill (but somethat near to it), and I press "Buy Skill Rank" button, the message confirms that I cannot. But, if I press "Buy Skill" button, and then move slider to max, I actually recieve a skill rank! Moreover, after that my PP counter is far from 0, and I could buy ranks in another skills!
If you have a plenty of PP and tria, then you shouldn't notice this thing, but on low PP/tria it makes a difference.
It is unclear to me, that's wrong in this case - the first option is that indicator and "Buy Skill Rank" check are working correctly, the "Buy Skill" is a working exploit.
The second means that "Buy Skill Rank" button check and indicator blue bar display is totally wrong.
I think it would be a nice feature if it was showed up how many PPs and Tria you need to spend on buying your next level before you buy it.
