FS#8109 - Bug with Basic Leathermaking book
Reporting a Bug or rather Incomplete “Basic Leathermaking” Book. It does not have the entries of how to process Raw hides/skins, like Scrape the hide/skin which uses Hide Scraper, and then tanning it with info of How much tanning acid for which size of leather, and then last steps of cutting the leather from large size to medium size then small then patch and then Leather String. Since i knew it in my head in RL so i cud work it with this book. But i wonder a new player or maybe myself someday forgets the process then we can’t know the process from the book. So, with great regards, please fix this book, Thanks in advance.
It does have all of the above.
Use search for e.g. "Large Hide" or expand the entry for the leather string to see it all.
You will find entries such as: "Scrape Tefusang Skin into Large Hide using Leatherworking Table with a Hide Scraper." and
"Combine Large Hide, 6 Tanning Crystal Acids, (and multiples) into Large Tanning Hide."
Oh yes, its there, under Leather strings, it has to be expanded and then the last leafs of the inverted tree shows that. Sorry for this bug report, if Sir, you want you can delete this.
