FS#1793 - Ghosts! - Invisible avatars (both NPC and player)

Quite often I don’t see several NPCs or players after loading a map.

E.g. I see both guards in front of the Octarch house, I enter, leave, and both are invisible. I enter again, and two guards inside are invisible.

I go to the tavern, witness a dialogue between two people, but only see one. Yes, I can hear the other! And according to the talk, the other one should be right next to the first. I was able to see the chat bubble of an invisible char, at the place where it should be shown. Took me a few minutes staying in the tavern, then suddenly I see the other one.

It seems that the server believes it is not necessary to send character details, or sends it to a wrong recipient. May be a bug introduced in network code.

I reported such effects earlier to GMs (e.g. did not see one of the guards in front of the tavern, and did not see Orchibaly - until I ran away far enough to enforce reloading of Akkaio-Central). But these are now too regular to call them rare. I got a confirmation in game from other players too.

Set severity to “high”, because it may cause a huge amount of petitions and confusion in game when NPCs or player avatars are not seen by some but not all.

Thanks for the report, but it is a duplicate of  FS#1692  and  FS#1790  :)

Yeah… thanks for not finding already closed bug reports as default…

In case of  FS#1692  because of a lack of ortography (visable / visible).
