For what it's worth, I remember this being put in…without it, players were able to lag-slip through walls by auto-running and pushing screenshot. I don't know if that's still a problem, though.

ah yes, together with things like stopping autorun at map loads (which works OK now too). Maybe this can be removed? Should not be too difficult. Just remove

  psengine->GetCharControl()->GetMovementManager()->StopAllMovement();

from cmdutil.cpp (line 363). And also the comment in the line before that says "This is needed for some players who exploit the movement of "laggieness""
Maybe someone could just test if it allows exploits.

Tested and it's not exploitable (lossless, nogui etc make no difference) :)
The character actually pauses movement in that location and continues from that same spot after the screenshot is taken.
