FS#6380 - Enchant gems multiple times
Since it’s pretty hard to get high quality enchanted gems (at least, at level 100 enchanting rubies), I’d like to propose allowing players to try to enchant a gem more than once. The current system partially allows this already. If you try to enchant a Q80 enchanted gem and fail, you get a Q80 pile of dust and some practice points. However, if you try to enchant a Q80 enchanted gem and succeed, the gem is reset to its previous quality (Q80) and you get no practice points.
Why not let players try to improve the quality of their gems? There would always be the risk that they’d end up with a high quality pile of dust, and maybe the risk could be made higher when trying to enchant an enchanted gem.

After evaluating the feature request I
think it would devalue high quality gems
digged by miners. Closing.
Im not sure, since we now can dig higher quality gems with higher mining skills it could devalue such high quality gems.
